Meet Dr. Smith Dentistry is a second career for me, but one I had always hoped to pursue. After spending seven years as a Certified Public Accountant with a firm in Atlanta, I made the decision to return to school and follow my long-standing passion for dentistry. I have found this career to be incredibly rewarding and am grateful every day that I made the switch.I earned my Bachelor's degree in Mathematics (2010) and Master of Accountancy (2011) from Georgia College and State University. I went on to obtain my Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 2022 from the LECOM School of Dental Medicine, followed by a General Practice Residency in Hospital Dentistry at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. I am a proud member of the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. I was born and raised in Alpharetta, GA. In 2015, I married my wife Tammy, and together we have two wonderful children, our son, Arlo, and our daughter, Finley. Outside of dentistry, I enjoy golfing, hiking, reading, and cheering on the Green Bay Packers. |
